Welcome!
These 'Venomenal Snakes' pages are dedicated to the most fascinating creatures of the animal kingdome......... THE SNAKES! My name is Harold van der Ploeg and was born in 1976. I live in Leeuwarden, a medium sized city in the northern part of the Netherlands. I have been interrested in snakes since I was a little kid. At this moment I keep several non-venomous and venomous species. Both types will be described at this site. I have to note that I don't promote keeping venomous reptiles. Those animals are dangerous and can NEVER be kept totally safe. So only experienced or profs can deal with them. There are many species of non-dangerous snakes which can be very beautiful and gentle 'pets'.
The name 'Venomenal' is a pun from the words 'phenomenal' and 'venomous'.
By clicking the links at the top of this page you can surf over the 'Venomenal Snakes' pages.
